I was a tenant for a couple years. Never had a problem with management and if I did was resolved immediately. Perla has been really helpful she one the one who was always on top of everything. I highly recommend Thousand Oaks Apartments .

I have lived at Thousand Oaks for three years. I used to think it was a nice place to live, however it has gone severely downhill in the past year. In the past we dealt with construction and long maintenance times, which was one thing. But this year we have had a slew of problems. First our buildings mailbox broke and we were forced to go to the post office to physically pick up our mail for SIX MONTHS. Around that time (January) one of our washers downstairs broke, which meant there was one washer for 8 units downstairs. Now, in June, it has been almost seven weeks since the second washer has broken and the first never got fixed. They do not provide in unit hookups, so we have had to take our laundry elsewhere when gas is $5/gal. I have called multiple times and management doesnt even bother to call me back, take money off of rent, or give us even a date for the repair. Combine this with drains that always clog, neighbors that steal food off of your doorstep, and pest control that does nothing but pretend to spray. I would no longer recommend Thousand Oaks as a place to live. **Editing months later to say that for the last several months of winter they didnt salt our steps and multiple people fell, resulting in broken glass from people dropping groceries. The broken glass is still there on our steps, along with the broken glass from people having their cars broken into recently. Super safe stuff** Editing again in Jan 2024: Do not take the new reviews on this apartment at face value. Over the last six months there have been tons of 5 star reviews that are clearly paid or friends of management. Some of them are from other countries. The real ongoing issues: New management has taken it upon themselves to completely redo every vacant apartment, which means nonstop construction noise, the smell of paint thinner permeating the whole apartment, beer cans and vapes and other trash sitting around below the apartments, bathroom fans and lights left on in the units below us 24/7 for weeks. There have been several times that water was shut off unexpectedly with no advance notice. The construction crew broke the front door to the building and now it slams loudly every time its shut. We even had sewage backing up into our shower after they installed new toilets. Yet still the same old issues are ongoing problems: the drains do not drain, the first big snow we had literally ZERO done to our parking lot before noon, and the walkway including stairs leading up to the apartment was covered in 8 inches of untouched snow. We have a chronic issue with mice every year, and the washer and dryer units are a joke. Fix the ongoing issues instead of making the outside look nice so you can charge more!
