Betsy is a great "find" in the world of realtors. She is always quick to respond to requests for house showings, and has given us excellent advice regarding our decisions when making offers. She has a strong rapport with other agents and is unfailingly respectful, polite and friendly. Although we know better, she makes us feel as if we are her only clients. We recently decided to put our house on the market and her guidance regarding staging and pricing made it an easy and profitable experience. We have always felt that she has our best interests at heart, and we consider her a friend as well as a fantastic realtor.

Working with Betsy OBrien exceeded all our expectations. She worked patiently with us and did a walk through of our home with us several months before we planned to list it and helped us make a list of minor things to take care of before putting our home on the market. When it comes time to start packing boxes and decluttering your home before photos are taken, Betsy talks you through the process of focusing on each member of the family packing one box a day so the task doesnt become overwhelming. It may seem daunting, but it is not as scary as it sounds. We had lived in our home for 19 years, had three children living at home, and had accumulated far more than we realized, and I am sure many people are in the same situation we were in. Betsy will help you set deadlines and these deadlines can be pushed back if you arent quite ready. She had an incredible photographer who took stunning photos of our home, inside and out. Her listing was meticulous, and we had nearly every time slot booked the first two days our home was on the market. Betsy has an incredible rapport with other agents and she is well respected among her peers in the Kansas City area. We received an offer that was well over asking price the day it went on the market and a second offer on the second day. We accepted an offer the day after our house went on the market and Betsy looked out for our best interests with the negotiations with the buyers agents. When it came time for us to move, Betsy also had recommendations for movers and the ones she recommended were amazing and gave us a discount when we mentioned her name. Betsy treats her clients as family, and you will feel that she is family after you spend time with her. You will never feel rushed or silly for asking lots of questions. You will always feel that you are her first priority when you call, email or text. She is always responsive and will get back to you in a timely manner. Working with Betsy while relocating to the Kansas City area was such a pleasure! Betsy's high level of professionalism, local market insight, and fantastic interpersonal skills took the stress out of our out of town buying experience.
