If I could rate this hotel zero I would. It smells, its so loud you cant sleep from the trucks driving by all night. We were placed right next door to the only other person in the motel beside us who was up all night long blaring their TV through the paper thin wall. Im not sure why they wouldnt At least space us out one room. We came in tired off the road from a 1600 mile road trip to get some sleep and that didnt happen. So we paid essentially to be up all night long annoyed. The crack/gap in the door between the door frame was so large that you could see the light coming in a a cold breeze was blowing though it the entire night which made the room freezing. The heater kept shutting off and I had to keep getting up to turn it back on over and over again because if I wasnt waking up from the trucks driving by or the neighbor blaring the tv I woke up because I was freezing cold. Not to mention the desperate need for a remodel. Keep driving dont stop here. Take it from me! Wow reading the response from the management here explains a lot! I said I was on a 1600 mile road trip and his response to my review was a condescending comment about who can drive 1600 miles in a day! Think before you speak and listen when people have something to say instead of being defensive and thinking you need to have a smart rebuttal because you didnt like my review. I said 1600 mile road trip NOT 1600 miles in a day hence the reason to stop at a hotel to get some rest! I Still stand it n this review & yes I did regrettably stay here so denying that and making nasty replies to reviews only make you look worse.

I was driving back to amarillo overnight from buckner mo. I stopped at this motel due to the rating being pretty good, the amenities, and the price. I arrived around 1 am and paid for the room. Although states the prices at 37 a night, it was not 37, but 66 a night. After paying for my room I found out that although it stated free breakfast in the reviews and on priceline they didn't offer breakfast. Once in the motel I got my kids laid down and went to sleep. I laid in one bed then in the other. When I woke up my body was sore and I had bites all through out my body. To what I later found out were bed bug bites. I was covered in bites from my left arm pit to my ribs on both arms and all down my right leg. I would not recommend ever staying there. I do have photos to go along with this post if needed
