I am new to archery and recently had my first experience with Roth Outdoors when I accidentally dry-fired my bow. I walked in feeling embarrassed, but everyone in the facility was incredibly gracious and I felt no judgment at all! Luckily, all my bow hardware was fine, so they did new cables and string to get me back on-track and it looks great!! I am so grateful to have found such a professional and helpful archery pro shop in our area!

I went into Roth Outdoors a couple weeks ago looking for my first bow to use for hunting later this year. Hunter (the lead tech) and John were servicing some client bows when I arrived, but dropped everything at a moment's notice to help me out. Hunter asked for my budget and never pushed anything onto me that exceeded my spending limit, which was much appreciated. He took time to explain the benefits of certain models / components and where money is worth spending vs where it's not. He and John set up several bows to my draw length and poundage and encouraged me to test them as long as needed in order to find whichever bow felt best. All the while, Hunter was giving me form tips without ever communicating in a know-it-all sense. Just a really kind guy who loves helping others. After we landed on a bow (a lightly used Mathews VXR consignment bow), Hunter helped me pick out some arrows and then John helped me dial in the sights at their indoor shooting range. I can't say enough great things about both of these guys. I felt a little insecure walking into a bow shop having never fired a bow in my life, but both Hunter and John were incredibly welcoming and excited to get me set up. I live in KCMO about a 50 minute drive from Roth Outdoors, but I won't go anywhere else for my archery needs. This place is a gem and anyone who wants to get into archery or find a new local pro shop should seriously consider checking out Roth Outdoors. I'll be back.
