If you are a straight couple w/wo kids or a woman with kids or just a woman you need a place to go to figure out what to do to change your life for the better.. this is a good place to check out. They have a food pantry. They have substance abuse meetings. The staff are almost always available and willing to answer questions or address concerns. The staff works with you on a plan of action during your stay. You are not charged rent but you will be placed on a weekly chore sheet according to your ability to perform the task. You are encouraged to find work and put earnings back in savings for your future needs. If accepted into the program you are granted up to 2 years to meet your set goals for after you leave. Cons There is very little to be entertained with here. Its best to keep yourself occupied with planning your future, making any long overdue Dr's appointments, and keeping in touch with family and friends. Its not always stress free but better than some places. Not everyone will get along but that's everywhere you might go. Meals are provided but not always what you like to eat. One last thing: This place is a hell of a lot better than jail, prison, or living on the streets.
