Lake Miola Campgrounds

Beautiful views, right on the lake! Small and everyone was personable and friendly! Our favorite place so far for sunrises. Kept our site easily paying a fee days at a time. Super close to Paola which is a really neat town! If you can avoid the camp hosts site as much as possible, do it. It was hard to get to the rv with out stepping in dog poop. It's everywhere, but honestly, she was nice and it wouldn't stop us from staying there again. Playground: There is a small playground with a big pirate ship to play on Restrooms: Very clean. Dog-friendliness: Super dog friendly! Everyone there had at least one.

Most non sewer sites are not level. Get a sewer site if possible. Dump station 2miles away. You can drag up to a vacant sewer site to dump. Bathroom decent, warm, not hot showers.

Not Big rig friendly. We had paid for a week. Did not refund anything we paid. Do not recommend.

An asset to the area for sure. Playground: I've always loved the big wooden boat at the playground area, the kids always love it! Restrooms: The restrooms are usually clean and shower area is spacious. Dog-friendliness: Haven't seen the dog park up close yet but nice to have one! Picnic area: Lots of places to stop and toss a line and see what's biting or have a picnic or birthday party.
