I know I can trust Johnston & Murphy for an excellent product and excellent service. I stopped by the new store in the Kansas City Airport (MCI), and met briefly with the sales rep John. He respected my limited time and shared his knowledge and experience with different shoe models to help me find something comfortable and stylish. Since they are J&M I also can trust they will be long lasting. .Couldnt be happier, thanks John!

You would think buying shoes from a higher end store like Johnston and Murphy would come with a-little extra care and attention to detail. But youd be wrong, ordering was easy enough online and I was pleased to see how quickly they shipped. I received them today and found out why they arrived so quickly. They came from a store in the Overland Park Mall. The pictures dont really do the condition of the shoes any justice. But essentially I received a pair of shoes that looked like theyd been taken out of someones closet, fully laced, creased and scuffed up, I called to see if I could exchange them for an actual new pair. And of course confirmed my suspicion that these were a retuned pair or something since I was told that was the last pair they had. So instead of a new pair of shoes, I get to wait for who knows how long for a replacement pair to be shipped, and as an added bonus I get to go to a fedex store to repackage send these worn shoes back to them. Save your money and your sanity, find another option. - shoeless in gardner
