My husband Randy is a patient and we have had excellent attention by all staff (Dr Burns, Dr Rose, Kerry Sanders) on all occasions over the yrs. We continue to deal with KU, Mayo, and other providers, but trust advice & care given by Pure Health, and the very professional staff at all times. And P,.S. Thanks to front desk staff!

A friend recommended this practice to me as a primary care. I couldnt even get a new patient appointment to see what care would be like. Were booking a month out, so. So, what?
The scheduler explained that they couldnt help me with one issue that I have (fair, but disappointing and confusing). Check with your primary care doctor.
But I was calling for You know what? Skip it.
She didnt offer to book a new patient appointment.
She wasnt rude by any means, not at all. It was just plainly obvious she could not have cared less.

Does anyone know if there is a patient portal or something to see when your appointments are and things like that instead of calling for information? Also, I love this place. Dr. Burns is amazing and is great at what he does. He takes the time to figure out what is exactly going on and cares.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have asked for two referrals to specialists for dermatology, and GI. They know what insurance I have, and the process of getting me the "authorization" as they have in the past. I have been a patient there for over 20 years now. While the doctors, and PA's are very good while being seen, the behind the scenes help is absolutely the worst I've seen as far as being receptive and responsible for what they're paid to do. I now am dealing with doctors bills because they said I was referred, but was not referred with an "authorization;" therefore, now I am spending hours on the phone trying to get this fixed. I have had cancerous issues with my intestine in the past, have had issues for the past 3 months, but cannot get a referral done correctly to the doctor I know takes my insurance. The GI doctors office has called as well, they too have not received a phone call. Do NOT overlook reviews folks, they are accurate, take your care to another doctor!

Never stepping back here!! Very bad follow up. You will have to wait forever to get answered! Very disappointed
