Colonial Village Overland Park

We recently moved my mother-in-law to Colonial Village. She is comfortable and so well cared for. We could not be happier with the entire staff. They truly care for the betterment of each resident.

This place is pretty good, but some other workers are very lazy. They have a CNA named Laney that just sits on her phone the whole entire shift. She never helped out all she talks about is Poppin pills drinking alcohol with other coworkers very unprofessional. I worked as a nurse Here and a lot of the residents complain on her. I just dont understand these top-notch places are hiring lazy people. I watched her and another coworker down alcohol and pop pills on the clock just craziness. Problem is theres no numbers or anybody to tell

The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. The variety of room and care options within the facility is excellent.

My mom entered Colonial Village as a long-term care resident. From my first meeting with Jill, to Lisa, Dan, Nicole, Destiny, Mary, Linda, Carla and too many others to mention, but equally treasured, this has been a wonderful experience. Mom is well taken care of and the staff is very kind to my mom and to me. In addition the rooms are quite spacious and can be decorated by family, making it look more like home than a care facility.

My mother has been a resident of Colonial Village for 4 years. She started with independent living, then assisted living and is now in memory care at Maggie's Place. We are very happy with the care she receives. The people of Colonial Village are very supportive. It feels like family. All you have to do is ask and there is someone to help you with this journey of caring for your loved one.
