Town and Country Apartments

These apartments now called the Flats at 95th, also called 95 West Luxury apartments are horrible.. they have changed the name of them 2 times in the last year hoping the bad name doesn't follow them around and we are on our 2nd property manager in 6 months and I heard there was a different one right before ....Here are just some of the problems...There has been a roach infestation for months and the management refuses to spend the money its going to cost to produce an effective cure... ..there are multiple types of mold in the basements, the walls, the floor boards etc, the floors are so uneven its like walking on a tilt a whirl ride, the plumbing has been leaking for months in almost all of the apartments. The roof in one of the apartments fell in from the rain this past week 10/10/2018 it was literally raining in their apartment.... they were told to put tarps over their thing they didnt want ruined or damaged. I was without a toilet for 2 days, the property manager did not arrange for a hotel or even provide me with a key to a different apartment so I could have a bathroom. The "newest" (as of 2017) owner spent money on stainless steel appliances, subway tile and faux wood so that these apartments "appear" to be nice.... underneath its borderline uninhabitable... in building 6621 its a nightmare! You cant walk away from you glass of water, you will come back to find a roach drinking from it. There are holes in the walls behind the counter and cabinets so large that mice and a small cat could crawl through from the outside into the walls and into your cabinets, the laundry room has one washer and one dryer of which the roaches tend to gather there more than any other part of the common area... its also moldy and dirty with standing water. The hallways are rarely clean and not because of the tenants but the maintenance and contractors make a mess and leave it. Some of the apartment are missing fire alarms and there is not one single carbon monoxide detector present. These apartments should be called Slight Of Hand, because what they seem to be is something completely different than what they are. Beware of this place!!!. Its better than being homeless but seeing we pay 900 to 1000 for a one or two bedroom and the location does not have one single amenity... except an old rickety picnic bench placed underneath a wooden awning that sits in between 2 buildings... its either muddy, wet or filled with bugs..... the only thing I can say is that its a little better than living under a bridge.

The management of these apartments is absolutely horrible. Ive been working with them...waiting on them, since april. they keep telling me they are going to come fix the crumbling dry wall in my bathroom and the leaking ceiling that pours black water onto my floor but no one shows up. it is months of voocemails and unanswered phone calls and ignored texts before another lie is told. I strongly advise anyone considering these apartments to go elsewhere.
