Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union

The specific branch is great but the loan department is awful. Ive had issues with home and vehicle loans. They missed information and on our home loan they tried to request more information on DAY OF CLOSING after not responding to our agent for 2 weeks! Ive now attempted to get a payoff letter for (4) straight days from them and cant even get a call back or an email. I spent an hour on the phone getting routed in circles with no luck. Will not use FIGFCU for any loans in the future, dealing with them and getting someone on the phone is impossible. I should be able to make a call and get a payoff letter in a day, but 4 days and still nothing???? Awful experiences over and over.

I started with the credit union when I was a Farmers Ins. Agent only because I had too. Ever since then I have hated working with them. In my area we don't have any branches so I have to do shared branch transactions. Maybe it is because of this that I hate FIGFCU. They always put holds on my account/money even when it is a certified check from my other account. Slow to respond. Not open as often as all the banks and CU's in my area. As soon as they release my funds, I am done and closing my accounts for good.

This credit union has great rates and returns money to its credit union members through various promotions. Their team members are great and service oriented. They have a great phone app that allows me to do most of my business remotely. I love this credit union!!
