Lenexa Public Works Department

Called the department about clogged storm sewer and within 20 minutes two men were here on Vista Dr. clearing it. Very proud to live in Lenexa. It was Nov. 4th, 2022 with lots of rain and debris---leaves, etc. Thanks guys!

Very poor communication between City and residents. Everything I was told about storm sewer project in 2021 was not true. Spent time talking to Project Managers and told 2 different stories on length of time to complete. Very disappointed in their performance.

I just wanted to give a Huge KUDOS to Adam that came out last saturday night to service my street after I put an emergency request in for someone to come out and treat our subdivision which is located at 8920 Millstone Drive, Lenexa, KS 66220 due to slick and dangerous spots entering and exiting our neighborhood. He is a very valuable employee and took great care of our neighborhood even after speaking to me and thanking me for being so nice and not angry with him due to weather conditions that we have been getting. Please let him know that I APPRECIATE him very much and you all need more employees just like him that care about doing a great job when he is out there treating the streets and making sure that we get home safely.

I called to request a salt truck at the entrance to my neighborhood (just off of Woodland) and a truck was here within the hour. I know they are dispatching as methodically as possible, but I *really* appreciate the quick attention when a problem was noted.
