Mrs Jennifer, she is the most amazing lecturer you can ever meet ,she explains every detail and she involves every single student and makes sure we understand, we are involved in every way possible . I'll go back to her CMA class any time of the day .she made my CNA classes and clinical a success . Above all she loves her job, leave a lone the motivation she instilled in us . On behalf of November day student, ill thank you and God bless you.

I signed up for the CNA class on a whim the night before classes started. That is probably the best decision Ive ever made. I love my job and I dont regret taking this class. The instructors for these classes are amazing and always willing to help. They have lives outside of this school though, so dont expect them to be at your beck and call every moment of the day. One of the complaints I see on here is that the instructor was late for class. The reason she was late, and usually only by 5-10 minutes, is because she works a very demanding job that she is driving back from right before class starts. The other instructor is studying for her masters and is doing clinical at a location that is very far from KCN. They are humans with regular lives outside of the classroom, so dont hold that against them. Despite the fact that one instructor was late, not by a lot, I feel like I received a better quality education than I could have elsewhere. The instructors here care about you and the residents you work with while learning with them. These classes are HYBRID classes, meaning most of the work is done on your own at home/online. If you do the work, you will have no problems passing the class and understanding how to do the job. If you are incapable of doing the work, then dont sign up for this class. The CNA class was easy and I had no trouble passing the state exam. The CMA class is a lot harder and requires a lot of studying and work between each class session to keep up with the workload, but if you do it then you will be fine. Another complaint I see on here is how the instructor wasnt around during the clinical portion. There are usually 10-20 students in these classes and 1 or 2 instructors. Of course they cant follow you around every step of the way. The CNAs and CMAs you are shadowing are the ones you should be with the whole time during clinical. The instructors will check on each group multiple times and float back and forth to ensure everything is going smoothly. Overall, I am so glad I decided to sign up for these classes. I love my job and I wouldnt change it for anything. It is hard work, physically demanding, emotionally exhausting, and not exactly a glamorous career, but it is the most rewarding and fulfilling job Ive ever had and I am so thankful for KCN helping me get here.
