Duck Donuts

Comically bad. Go anywhere else for donuts. Understaffed like a lot of places are these days. But this was so bad. Staff was just rude to everyone that ordered. Donuts were just gooey messes.

Love this place! It is a little expensive, but the doughnuts are always warm and fresh and very creative. The owner happened to stop by while I was there this time and she was so sweet! Hopefully they’ll open some more of these in KC somewhere.

Donut was enjoyable by granddaughter but tables were gross and trash was overflowing.

I had heard lots about Duck Donuts, and I had high expectations going in. It's important to keep in mind that some of my experience could be due to this specific location or it could be a problem with the chain overall. The donuts themselves looked good and smelled good once we got them after the were made. The taste was also very good, very much a vanilla cake donut, but upon picking the donuts up they just broke apart. The donuts don't seem to be cohesive but taste delicious. Luckily, I didn't have the problem that many others have had of not having coffee because it would "back up orders", but the coffee itself was just subpar. When there's plenty of other places to get coffee nearby, I would prefer elsewhere. Overall, though the taste was good and the donuts had a good appearance, for over $20 for a dozen I expect a lot higher quality than here, although it's great that they make them fresh for you. The service was fast though not the most outgoing. Might come again, but plenty of cheaper options for around the same experience.
