    Rented their bobcat loader. Great price great people. In and out in no time. Equipment kept in very good condition and runs great. I have rented from Gerken many times over the years and have never had a problem. Gonna contact them this week to rent a boom lift because I know they are a great company to do business with.

    Rented same equipment two weekends in a row for a job that would have only taken one weekend, however I had a death in the family right after I rented the equipment the first weekend and did not get to put even one minute on any of the equipment. So I rented the same equipment for another $855 the next weekend to get my job completed. On Sunday afternoon the joystick on the Bobcat broke off in my hand causing the machine to Lunge forward and I was lucky I did not get injured or damage what i was working on. So I got to use that piece of equipment less than half the time I paid for. I kept the compactor Jack so that I could finish what would have been done Sunday as well if the Bobcat did not break. Returned it the following Saturday and told them I was done with it now that I had to borrow equipment to finish the bobcats job so I could use the tamper. They acted like they did me a favor by not charging me for the remainder of the tamper and I told him I only kept it because their Bobcat broke and I didn't get to use it and finish my job. They weren't concerned or Bobcat broke, they weren't even aware of it until I explained it . They're very lucky I did not get injured or tear up my equipment I was working around. Bottom line they do not care, whether it is their fault or not. I have been a good customer over the last few years. Due to the way I was treated I will not ever patronize The Establishment again.

Thank you for reaching out, Greg. We are sorry your experience did not meet your expectations. The set screw on the handle did break during the time you had it, so we extended the time you were able to keep the tamper. All of our equipment rentals have a contact number to call if something breaks or does not work appropriately. This allows us to trade out equipment for customers and keep their projects running. We did not receive a call from you on the bobcat--had we been contacted, we would have been happy to get a replacement for you.
