Been an account holder for 16 years. Tried to deposit a tax return check with my husband present, both of our IDS present, its my account, and the bank manager denies us. They took our IDs for ten minutes. Treated us like dirt. Looked at the checks, pretended like one could be a copy. Tina looks us at us like we are garbage and goes, did you guys just get married? No been married 7 years.. are you wanting to add him
To the account? No well we cant do it then. Its policy he needs to be on the account. . How does that make sense?? We left went to his bank. Cashed it. Then I closed my account there. Fair warning. If you want to open an account there. Dont. Little girls work there that instigate and create further issues. I was asked by one teller why I was closing the account. I answered. A different teller had the rebuttal of its not policy when she was not involved in the conversation. Hands down the worst place in Leavenworth to bank at. Close it down.

I have had this bank for the past 8 years while I served in the Army. I didnt switch earlier mostly due to laziness and being stationed overseas for a large majority of my service, so contacting them during hours of operation and getting mail in a timely manner was pretty difficult. They dont have any perks for being a service member even though they claim to be a military friendly bank. I have had a few problems with fraud while banking with them. For the most part they did what any bank would do and helped me out. Recently, I had an issue with a fraudulent check and I lost a lot of money. When I attempted to get in contact with their fraud department, I was told that you cant contact the fraud department directly. They dont have any contact information and the help desk people wont transfer you. I also asked to speak with some sort of manager that could help me out and was told no. When I asked if I could get their policies on fraud response they claimed they sent it to my email but didnt. I filled a complaint with the comptroller and they lied in their report. After this recent incident I immediately switched banks to a more military friendly one. The communication with this bank has also been horrendous. They dont notify you for hardly anything. Every time they claim to send an email to me I never get anything. I ensured that my email was up to date through the app and by calling them.
They shut my card off CONSTANTLY and for absolutely no reason. Every time I got stationed somewhere new, the first thing I would do is notify the bank of the new country that I was in so they WOULDNT shut my card off but of course something always went wrong. Was living in Asia for over a year and they kept shutting my card off, asking if I lived there. On the app youre supposed to be able to have control of turning your debit cards on and off but that feature never worked for me. Of course being overseas, whenever my debit card got denied at a store (mostly on post) I wouldnt be able to contact them about turn it back on unless I got up in the middle of the night to call them. Their hours of operation are inconvenient for overseas service members. I dont feel as though this is a military friendly bank at all and I would recommend people use a different bank, especially service members.

Everyone was very polite and helpful. The bank is clean and a wonderful open space.
