I had not heard anything from his office in over two weeks from our initial consultation. My case was not a complicated matter that should have only taken a few phone calls and some redress of legal documents, but my case is moving slowly, some of which is due to the other attorney not returning his calls. He has been in this area for a long time and understands the local judicial system, which is a huge plus.Advice would be nice, but I don't get that from Doug, instead it's more a lets wait and see which is great for his bank account.  I've been getting notices for payments up front.  I just get the sense he's in this for his interest (after all, he's getting paid, the other lawyer is getting paid all while nothing is getting done, and why should it since either lawyer is getting paid!).
