        This is the worst place I have ever been. They said my girlfriend didnt fit in any of the anxiety groups and was told by a KU Psychiatrist that she was too messed up to join. It has been 3 months of trying to get an extension on homework and tests in case she has a panic attack before one and they still havent given her that. If your child is not mentally strong I would not send them to KU or expect not to get help

        Well, its OK. I would only consider going here again for fairly simple mental health issues (life transitions, feeling lost, etc.). Many of the clinicians are interns, which is all well and good (Ill be one myself soon) but I came away feeling like my longer term issues werent addressed well and therapeutic techniques were used only on a basic level. Sessions are also limited and as we all know the clinic is understaffed and underfunded relative to demand. I am now seeing a psychologist in town.
