I left another review under my mom's name but this is a review that says that Cara is the absolute most non judgemental therapist I have ever had. She totally gets it. She understands the anxiety of mental illness and the trauma of the experience of it. She is kind and compassionate. I love doing the journaling prompts and listening to music to heal. Her office setting is so cheery. Cara is wise beyond her years.

Actually my name is Rebecca Lyn Phillips and I am so thrilled to be able to give Sunflower Art Therapy a five star rating and to say that Cara is truly one of the most professional, kind and creative people I know. I have been working on a timeline of my life events and memories and it has really been healing to me. Cara never makes me feel less than or abnormal because I experience a serious mental illness. She is respectful and honors every life and her kindness makes me happy. To top it all off I drive from Topeka to Lawrence just to have my appointments with Cara!! She is just that good.
