        The Veranda Venue was the perfect spot for a wedding! The grounds and other spaces were stunning. Heather and Matt were amazing too. They did so much to make sure our sons wedding went smoothly and all of the work they did to make the place beautiful was really appreciated.

        While searching for a place to host our family for our son's University of Kansas graduation, we stumbled upon a hidden gem. The Victorian Veranda, a well-maintained 10-room, 10-bathroom Victorian farmhouse, is located just a few minutes from downtown Lawrence. Owners, Josh and Amber, along with their family, were excellent and made our stay memorable. The beautiful gardens and porch provided great outdoor seating, and the barn was converted into a fantastic event space. We are thrilled to have found this place and grateful for the added joy it brought to our weekend celebration. Thank you again, Kurt and Susan
