Ironwood Court & Park West

We lived at Ironwood for nearly 6 years. Do not live here if you value your security deposit and peace of mind. For most of these years management was great, neighbors were nice, and the place was peaceful and good for raising a family. Unfortunately, new managers took over in the last few years and they allowed new tenants to move in that would smoke and drink outside, were extremely loud, and threw weekly parties with suspicious characters that would creep around other peoples patios at night. We felt very unsafe. During move out we did our best to clean the apartment and they kept almost the entire deposit to cover normal wear and tear of old furnishings and cleaning fee charges for appliances that were left spotless.

In the limited time I have experienced Ironwood, I have seen outreach to residents and communication from management that was timely and efficient. Additionally, I have noticed fun, intentional engagement opportunities for residents like contests and celebrations to participate in.

Apartment location is perfect. Right near K10. The apartment we live in has a nice layout. I just wish carpets were a different shaded color, due to the fact that my apartment has spotted lots of recluse spiders, the carpet is cameo for them to be spotted. SCARY since i have a baby crawling around. Above all the staff have been there if we needed anything important.

I lived at the Ironwood Court apartments for 3 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the apartment itself and the maintenance staff was great. We were also neat and courteous tenants as well. However, upon moving out, my girlfriend and I cleaned the apartment top to bottom and even hired outside cleaners to ensure we would get the most out of our deposit back. After discussing with the front office on several occasions to get clarity on items that we would need to replace before the said move out date, we felt confident that we would get the majority of the deposit back. To our dismay, they ended up charging miscellaneous items that racked up almost the entirety of our deposit in the end anyways. This included items we were directly told to not worry about. At that point we shouldn't have put a fraction of the effort into the moveout process since they were going to take the deposit anyways. There were also major issues throughout our stay that I could mention; including not having access to the pool for 3/4 months it was supposed to available. As stated- the apartment itself is nice for the price, but the transparency in fines, especially with move-out procedures is where I lost respect for management.
