Hospice House

My family chose Hospice House when my grandfather was put on hospice. He had a complicated case and they were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Visitation times were generous, and staff was very courteous. The facility is top of the line. It was very comforting knowing that chaplains were available for conversations with my grandfather and with the family.

My mother was checking into Hospice House and lived there for three days. Hospice House is a home for those who temporarily reside there and for their families and friends. It is made a home by the incredibly caring and gentle staff and volunteers. It is warm and inviting, quiet yet feels comforting. Staff and volunteers are kind, helpful, supportive, and attentive to the needs of both the residents and their network in attendance. There is a full kitchen available to all with a dining room, sun room, patio with child play area, sitting rooms and entertainment options available in the game room. All modern medical needs are met in unobtrusive and subtle ways to ensure the feeling of home is maintained. If you are unable to hospice at home for real, Hospice House is the next best thing. I want to give an especial mention to the nurses on duty the mornings and nights from Dec 29 through Dec 31.
