Dr. Howard Reynolds Nature Trails

I frequent this park quite often, as it is not too far from where I live. It is my sanctuary whenever I am feeling burnt out, overwhelmed, or in need of a place to think. It is one of the best kept secrets in Hays. There is so much to explore when one has a chance to embark on the trails contained within the park. I always find something that I don't stumble across on a daily basis, be it insects, birds, random sundries left by negligent humans, or even the skies above. The trails are easy to walk as well, with a few inclines scattered across. The trails also offer photographic opportunities as well -- see some photos that I have taken from here! Most of my photographs' geotags are from here. It is a wonderful place to visit, and I encourage you to visit. I hope you find appreciation for the nature that we take for granted!

Despite the highway noise, nice trails. Beware we discovered some hitchhiking ticks on me and my dog after our walk!
