The Skylight Suite is beautiful and there are huge doors to a connecting room, with several more beds, that can be opened to make essentially a large two-bedroom apartment overlooking the street. You have a full kitchen set-up, a side dining area, large living room, small bathroom, and separate bedroom. The trains do go by during the day but it's not really that loud and I didn't hear any at night. As others have mentioned there is a large staircase to climb to get to the rooms so plan accordingly. And, if you like to stay in haunted hotels, The Banker's Inn has that vibe at night.

What an absolutely gem! My coworker and I truly enjoyed our unique suites and the experience that exceeded all our expectations. Sleeping in the Skylight Suite was great; it provides light to both the living room/kitchen and the bedroom. The suites are very comfortable and quite large; the tall ceilings make them seem even larger. The kitchen was well equipped and having a full-sized refrigerator was a big perk. The location in this quaint town was spot on; easy walk to various shops, businesses and restaurants. Brooke was welcoming and attentive to every detail. She went out of her way to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable. I cannot recommend this unique hotel enough. It's the perfect destination for anyone seeking a peaceful escape from the ordinary. I will most definitely be returning to this hidden gem. Walkability: Everything is close- restaurants, grocery, bank, gas station, hardware store, etc.
