The Iowa Clinic Gastroenterology Department - South Waukee Campus

This was a HORRIBLE experience - was not informed it would be done under "mild sedation" until I got there - all other colonoscopies done elsewhere have been done under full sedation. I will NEVER go here again!!

Horrible experience just trying to set an appt. It took four calls in a three plus week period to get a phone call back to set up a diagnostic colonoscopy. The receptionist on the phone was snippy (sir we are very busy) but I was promised for the fourth time that I (also very busy) would be called back. Maybe not today. Starting to hold my breath right now. If I could I would go anywhere else to have this procedure done.

My experience from first call to leaving was exemplary. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My nurse and doctor were outstanding. I was nervous, and they really calmed me down, and made it as pleasant as possible. I would definitely recommend Iowa Clinic West Des Moines for Endoscopy care.

I had my procedure yesterday, the staff, from the moment I checked in, were professional and knowledgeable. The nurse who prepared me (Im sorry I cannot recall her name) was fantastic. She explained the procedure and what to expect, and was extremely professional. Doctor was prompt, professional and personable. The entire staff helped to eliminate the anxiety or a stressful procedure.
