I was impressed with the workmanship the crew that did was sent to my place . Very friendly
people . Compared to My last contractor that I had in Waterloo was nothing like A.Thompson Contracting the previous contractor added a bunch of charges after the work was done plus they made me pay 100 % up front, and this company has been in business a longtime, and when I called them they acted like I was bother them, so I got word from a family member about A.Thompson and the process was very easy and the owner is very respectful, to not only customers but to his employees ... Because I have seen very disrespectful employers that scream and yell and treat their employees like dirt so I was very impressed with A.Thompson overall 5 out of 5 stars and there is No hidden fees or extra charges the price that was quoted is exactly the price paid and they also accept credit cards .
My 2 stall garage was about to fall over and they put a new foundation under it and did it without any issues the owner told me 2 day in and out job and that's exactly what it was , I would recommend this company to anyone that needs concrete work done. They did an amazing cleanup job also they actually fixed the concrete going up to my garage and didn't even charge me for it , this company is definitely the best overall foundation/concrete contractor in the cedar valley. I have already spread the word to my friends and they will be using this company as well.

My wife hired them to do a little demo 2020 , and I was just hoping they would be able to do this we hired another local contractor in the cedar valley to do this project and they backed out and we were in a pinch. So we contacted April Thompson the owner and she gave us the managers #, he didn't answer but called me back the next day and came out the following day and set everything up with us to get rolling on the project , 2 weeks later here comes semi tractor, dump truck and multiple trucks (workers just stood there and played on there phones lol ) the boss just keep kept doing the demo, and let me tell you every employee on the job was very likeable and spoke fluent English, not normal for a construction company, the demo turned out to be a 3 hour project for A Thompson, the other company said it would probably take 3 or 4 days at best.
