A few years ago we rented a house from Egghead. The place was a mess when we made our first payment, and we had to clean it ourselves. They gave us permission to paint the 2 bedrooms, so we did... then on the second night living there we found out the place was infested with bedbugs. They said they had a "heat method" that would get rid of them... which failed. They also laid out crushed sea shells, which also didn't work. They told us we would have to hire our own exterminater and pay out of pocket if we wanted a professional to come in. After weeks of sleeping in our cars we finally moved out, but not before they let us know that because we painted the rooms, we wouldn't get our $595 deposit back.
I will NEVER rent from them again... and if you do, expect bugs, rude service and an awful time.
