I was there for my own reasons about a year ago and holy crud, it sucked. I didnt really wanna be there but didnt really get an option. The night staff smelled like they were addicts. You could smell them just by walking by them. You only got about 10 minutes to talk to your family (that is if they called you). The meals were tiny as crud. One of the meals that they served had more salt than the Atlantic Ocean. I was so glad when I got to leave but if I had to go there again I probably will be considered untreatable

All staff have horrible attitudes. Claim that the anger and frustration is due to recovery but it really comes from the staffs attitudes and treatment of clients. Since being out and home and being around positive people my recovery has been a lot better. Sobriety is now in my path and i rarely get mad or frustrated. Being around positive people instead of those with attitudes has been much better. Please consider another tx center for better care. We were also locked in a small hallway due to the rampant Covid they had in the facility and claimed they could not force clients to wear masks. Food was brought to us UNCOOKED and we were treated as if we had Covid. Not allowed to leave unit and be in the giant center they have. When knocking on the window as instructed for things the staff would hide behind the desk and ignore us and treated us as if we were a nuisance. Also dont look to see if your vaccinated when you go in. Again please seek another tx center where you can have more positive vibes for recovery.

Checking in Friday - 3rd time in treatment and has worked in recovery, have worked strong programs and have had even stronger relapses - from Florida to Cali, and everywhere between. Witnessed patient brokering, fraud, removing lifeless body’s from sober living, true joy and freedom in/from recovery... and watching it all slip away. If you look for problems, you’ll find them. If you seek recovery, you’ll find that. Sleeping with a client is definitely not ok - assuming she battles addiction and substance related crisis like the rest of us ..? She’s not immune just because she’s staff. Again, definitely unethical and immoral but hey - sounds like an addict to me!! At least they hire real ones. Will update this pre-review in 30ish days.
