        Very dated outside and hallways Sketchy scene lots of extended stay people who throw cigarette butts everywhere and have broken grills outside the doors. Rooms were clean and remodeled but the rest of the hotel was very dated Ran out of clean towels, found a weed pipe by the hot tub, breakfast was a joke Waffle maker with egg slices and dripping bacon otherwise toast and mini donuts from a bag. No drinks no water nothing Rooms: Clean. Current and had bed bug covers for safety.

        The rooms are updated. Hardwood floors. We took our dogs and they loved it. The hot tub was awesome. Easy access. Rooms: Comfortable, clean, quiet and updated. 55 inch TV.

        It was dirty. The bathroom was filthy. The tub had some kind of nasty substance in it, I couldnt take a shower. Yuck.

        From the phone call to reserve our room til the moment we left was excellent. The 3 gentlemen I spoke to on phone and arrival were very polite friendly made us feel welcome. For myself the location was a bit too far out of town and not close to anything as far as food, gas or shopping. However, I give this Hotel and our stay 5 stars and yes I would recommend the Quality Inn and Suites Hotel in Ottumwa, Iowa Rooms: The room I stayed in was clean bug free. Beds were nicely and neatly made with very soft pillows. The couch had built in celll phone charging ports for usb and C to C as well as regular plug ins. Pretty small room but very cool. Big tv, huge body mirror and bathroom mirror was a big bright touch mirror that set off a positive vibe. The huge great big pull by chain curtain that was both a sunset or rise depending what time of day oor night. Nearby activities: That is the only issue I could see. The Hotel is located on the North side of the town at the very edge. The only thing around the Hotel was two more Hotels and a Tractor supply. Food & drinks: There is a free breakfast which I was unable to experience
