Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Oskaloosa

First time at this location and it was wonderful. They even called to check if my room was OK. Comfy bed. Clean room. Outstanding.

I recently stayed here with my family. The lady at the front desk was knowledgeable and made our check-in easy, and the room was clean and exactly what it was advertised to be. The hotel has plenty of parking and is a very short drive from downtown. This hotel does a great job of keeping up the good reputation of the Marriott brand. Next time I'm staying up around this portion of Iowa I'll be going back to the Fairfield!

I was stranded in town due to my work vehicle breaking down. Not only was the hotel itself very nice the staff went above and beyond for me. The night hostess, Brianne was super friendly and provided me with all the toiletries I didn't have. Also made recommended on food! Then in the morning, Krystal and her team let me stay until the mechanic was sure they could work on my van. Which was well past the check out time so that I wasn't even more stranded. THEN when I needed to make the trip to the mechanic (due to no ubers or taxis in town) the maintenance guy, Alex, gave me a ride so I didn't have to walk 30 minutes in the snow! I am never staying at another hotel chain again if the staff are all like these great people! Also, rooms were neat, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! Rooms: Room was clean and had great amenities! Beds were so comfy and had 3 different types of pillows to choose from! Shower stayed hot and had great pressure. They even call when you first get in and settled to check if the room is to your liking which I've never had done before and love! Safety: The hotel itself is in an open area, the door to my room has plenty of locks, and you can tell that the hotel itself doesn't really attract sketchy people Food & drinks: They had a small snack and drinks area by the front desk so I didn't need to trudge in the snow for a beer after a rough day!
