They answer the phone laughing and hurrying you off- even hanging up!- to get back to the fun- when I asked questions they said they dont know- by far the WORST DHS yet- & Ive had 1 that miscalculated and I had to pay for her mistake- THIS IS HELPING people!!?

Honestly the rudest woman ever to answer the phone. Answers completely unprofessional, gives out bad phone numbers and cant give any resources or information for services offered. How do you work for a place and not know what they do!?!

I would give a "0" if it was an option they don't even deserve a "1" star. I have had several personal experiences with several associates at DHS. There are no words to describe this company and those that work for it. DISGUSTING is the only appropriate feeling and thoughts I get when thinking about it. Nancy Mata violates company policies and rules, and she also lies and writes false reports. Davina Holladay, is a joke, she is Nancy's supervisor, do not go to her for issues with her social workers coming into your home without a face covering on putting someone's children at risk in their own home, not to mention the several attempts to drug test due to Nancy's lack of knowledge and you will get sent to numerous places and then blamed for it. Also when you exercise your rights to request that false or incorrect information be corrected she will deny that right, and give you the run-around. She lacks basic knowledge and can't answer your questions half the time. Katie Kelly, This one is a really pathetic and disgusting person. She will manipulate your children to lie and assist the stepmother in coaching a young child. She will help keep your kids from you and intervene by going to the school and police to assist a father who's a drug and alcohol abuser. Then she wont even have the respect to show up to court hearings or face you so she does all of this in a sneaky manner. Oh, and she will talk to young children without the consent of either parent, but accept the stepmothers consent. Karen Larsen, this one is the biggest joke of them all. Dont let her fool you, she doesnt even have a social work degree. She likes to intimidate people but when you dont allow it she plays the victim card. She is an alcoholic, and during child in need of assistance cases, she lies to the juvenile court and the childs other mother and all parties and hides information about a father attempting suicide, being an alcoholic, using meth and marijuana, and about domestic abuse around the children. I could go on and on. This whole agency is evil and monstrous. Laurie Ludman. Lynn Bell. Lori Frick. These are just some of the individuals for that I have evidence actual clear proof of their conduct and misrepresentation.

if you want a public servant to interfere in a custody case on your behalf even though all the EVIDENCE points to you being an UNFIT parent call Muscatine DHS. To bad we couldn't give a negative rating.. Evidence? That's right DHS ignores that if it is not what they want. The parents of children in Muscatine are doomed..

Ok I normally give people the benefit of the doubt but I've contacted this place 6 separate times and tried to get assistance, only to be interrupted while explaining my situation and transferred to a customer service line. A customer service line on the other end of which I'm not convinced an actual person exists. This place will not help you.
