Rodeway Inn & Suites near Okoboji Lake

We stayed here while on a trip through Iowa . The motel consists of a main building and 3 out buildings. It's definitely an older motel, but it is kept clean. Our beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was good-sized, and the staff were available for anything you needed. Very friendly also. Coffee was available 24/7, and the breakfast bar includes juice, cereal, breads and muffins and make-your-own waffles - which were very good. Would I stay here again? Yes

I would recommend the room was dirty the sinks leaked water everywhere they over charged my card and the hole time we had no privacy the works follow u around walk by ur windows and will look in at u not a good place to stay save ur money

Stayed here a few years back no issues so decided to stay again with my aunt. Big mistake on coming back. After getting to our room there was food still in the fridge from the previous guest, paper plates in the drawers and they seemed to not have been cleaned for a while as there was a thick layer of dust in them. Went to go plug my phone in and trash under the table, turn on the light by the bed trash by the night stand and under it as well. Didnt notice till I was about to check out of the room but there was a plastic bag over the fire alarm. Which is not only highly illegal to do but unsafe for the person staying in the room. Also hair in the tub. The breakfast was okay. The fridge they have the yogurt in could be kept at a colder temp as my yogurt was slightly warm. Normally I can look past a few things here or there because some people miss things when super busy. But its the off season. Try to do better.
