This woman was my OB for my first child, an experience that should have been special and untainted. I thought that I could trust her and believed everything was going to be ok. She didn't explain "birth plans" to me, and they threw a bunch of paperwork at me while I was in labor at the hospital. Needless to say I did not get it filled out in time, and I can't describe how unsettling it was to raise my head during the birthing time to see about 10 student doctors or nurses in the room. It was awful. To top that off I had kindly asked a nurse to give me a few minutes with my mom who traveled 3 hours away to see me and my daughter, this nurse told my doctor that I was out of control? Apparantly because my Lindstrom came in shortly after and tried to tell me I needed medicated etc. Birthing my daughter was an awful experience, but I'm sure it would have been better had I been under BETTER care. I had no problems delivering my 2nd child at a hospital in central iowa, and she was premature, the nurses were kind and sweet and my doctor was 100% ON TOP of asking me my wishes before they proceeded with anything. I would never see Lindstrom again if I lived in that area. Keep in mind my daughter is 7 years old now, but I have not and probably will not forgive the unprofessionalism and coldness of her.
