As the Administrator of the facility I take time to review our operations and I host a monthly townhall meeting where I field questions and make announcements about the facility. This is one of the ways I connect with families. We are constantly working to improve our processes here at Keosauqua Healthcare Center. Thank You for all you do !!!!!

Horrible workplace environment. Staff are not honest and steal things from other staff. Constant power struggle among some nurses. No team work, demeaning to others.

Workers seem to care about patients. Pretty clean facilities.

I came to work here through an agency. Immediately felt the vibes of being starred at, workers starring at me whispering. Then of course I was targeted by the nurses. Three nurses to be exact continued to come up to me within 15 minutes. Mind you my residents had been toileted and no call lights were going off on my hallway. My biggest issue was the fact no nurse introduced me to them to even let me know which one was working on my hall Incase anything happened with one of the residents. It was instant nitpicking. I had an aide use lots of profanity and screaming at me in the hallway. Very unprofessional and a disturbing scene for the residents. The place is very unprofessional and not a comfortable place to work. My thing with nursing is "if I wouldn't trust them with my parents or grandparents, I won't work at the facility". I have morals and beliefs within the healthcare system as I've been in healthcare the last 7 years. Also, being a traveler I've seen so much. This is one of the homes I would never work at again.
