        I had an amazing experience with Dr. Young at Petersen Pet Hospital. I have been searching for a vet who would meet my dog at his level and provide a plethora of information to help make him the healthiest version of himself.       Petersen Pet Hospital is here to treat the dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, mice, and pocket pets of the greater Hiawatha, IA area. We are an AAHA-Accredited, Fear-Free Certified, Cat-Friendly Practices certified, and low-stress handling facility. Our services include preventive and wellness care, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, allergy and dermatology testing, laser therapy, echocardiogram, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, pet dentistry, surgery including spay/neuter, orthopedics, mass removal, pain management, and more. We are open six days a week and we look forward to meeting you and your pet!
