My mother passed away and we go to Beckers because they are one of the only florists in town. We have used them before and although their prices are high they are a well established business in the community. A lovely woman helps us with our order and at the end tells us the price will be somewhere between $250-$300 dollars for the Urn arrangement. My sister points out that online the exact arrangement is $99 on their website. The person tries to explain that she will be surrounding the urn with many flowers and they will provide a riser for it also. Then the woman goes and asks her boss and they say that they shouldn't have that price online but they will honor it. Then we show up at the visitation and we find they have chopped the arrangement in half and not provided anything for the Urn, so we stack some Hymnals and away we go. When my sister called to talk to them about how disappointed we were they asked her if she had "Called to let them know" as if it was our fault for not telling them the issue. So they decided to give my sister half of the money back. So we got half the flowers at half off of half off. Honestly if they just would have found a common ground we would have paid more for the full wreath if it was that big of a deal but cutting it in half and then just leaving us in an already emotional day was pretty petty in my book. I won't be referring their business any longer.

We were there to fill out a rental application he discriminated against us just do to our background of being around drug's we needed out of the situation and he said that stuff follows you left it at that

We have been using Becker’s for floral needs for decades. We trusted them for a very special and emotional event and because of their lack of customer service, we will never use them again.
I had placed my order one month prior to our event. The only change I made was the color of the flowers. I ordered multiple centerpiece arrangements assembled with glass wear. I spoke to them a couple days before and went over what I ordered. The day came and someone else picked them up (admittedly I should have gone) and they just gave us bunches of flowers which we had to scramble to get vases and assemble arrangement with only 60 minutes to our event.
When I called to address this issue, I was told that that what was written and not that their employee made an error. And on top of it, they overcharged us for the arrangements by nearly double. That was corrected thankfully.
I went to the store the next day, and the owner couldn’t bring himself to say sorry. Not for the payment error or even sorry that their employee made an error in taking the order. Sorry for causing stress on an already emotional day.
I am baffled by the lack of customer service from a business that I once thought was a fixture in the community.
