UPDATE 11/17/23--today I will likely finalize this claim. The industry is awful and this company is an A#1 example. Using their mass to pressure an unfair settlement. Their final offer comes no where close to the loss I've incurred. I've been delayed, bullied, pushed, hired my own attorney all to no avail.
My own attorney saw no case until I gave details on the gross negligence involved. My attorney says he has never seen company act in such an unreasonable nature...and he has worked with his share.
My financial loss is easily more than 30k even after repairs. Not to mention the time, effort, stress, and attorney fees.
Sure I have every right to sue. Sure do, but this company along with every other person who's faced big insurance knows they'd just draw it out indefinitely and I wouldn't see a dime until I'm 80.
Next: I'm on my way to update my review of the "insured" storage facility to make sure others know not to store a thing there unless they have sought other coverage.
PREVIOUS REVIEW--I have never had a claim so entirely mishandled nor been ignored and purposefully put off regardless of my inquiries. This place need to be reported to the insurance commission. My claim has taken more than 18 months. I am left with an asset that is worth less than half of the value it had prior to damage. I've been ignored and bullied. Pushed around because they don't think I'll file a law suit. Claims Adjuster, Carey Miller, has made this entire experience a nightmare. Better Business Bureau and Insurance Commission will be receiving full complaints.
