We are new to IHMVCU and are horrified at the customer service and phone wait times. We just got a car loan through them and actually have accounts with different credit union (we ARE VERY pleased with). We have tried transferring money on the auto loan twice a week or more ahead of time. It gets returned. We call ...sit on hold 20 to 40 min. Only to get someone mildly pleasant who doesn't answer our questions. After we got our car loan we sent a small trial money payment that went through. Now our payment is due in 2 days and has been returned again by IHMVCU. Looks like we may need to drive an hour and a half from Cedar Rapids to make sure our payment is on time. Craziness!
UPDATE: We were finally able to get through to someone right away at 7 am. Nice young man who walked us through setting up our auto pay. He was patient and helpful. I still think wait times are way too long for customer service and that they are not an easy to use financial institution.

There moblie app is awful. Never recognizes my password. If I don't have to have them call and verify everytime. It just locks me out. Very poorly made. Don't recommend using it
