Metro Infusion Center

I have missed over 6 infusions for my disease due to inadequate care by the nurses that run metro in Davenport, Iowa. My nurse at my GI doctor has to take care of everything to try to make things go smoothly for me to even get infused. We will get paperwork in - in a timely manner weeks before my appointment (paperwork and confirmation number done December 3rd. Infusion December 20th) my GI nurse calls the head nurse (Tara) to make sure everything is okay and Im able to get infused to be called the morning of by nurses in Davenport at Metro and told I cannot get infused due to the paperwork not being done. We have confirmation number and logged that Tara confirmed everything was in good standing. This is the 6th time. I do not enjoy going here and they blow at least 2 veins each time Im there. They tell me I get Free Med due to me having to go through a special pharmacy to get my medication. They do not make me feel welcomed and treat me as a burden. They do not care if I miss a dose as they consistently remind me that Im free med and could careless to fight for my medication or keep my file in good standing so I wouldnt miss infusions.
