Enjoy the breakfast lot's of variety of food . The room very clean and peaceful . All the staff is professional and nice . Enjoy the jacuzzi and pool . My son enjoyed his birthday party at the hotel. Rooms: Very clean and relaxing vibe . Safety: I felt safe .

We had checked in on a Friday afternoon and everything was fine, staff could barely work the computer system but got to our rooms fine. Our door would not lock when we left our room. We asked four times for someone to look at it, never did. Went to go look at pool area and was carrying a Stanley water bottle ( with water in it) went in the pool area and was stopped by the hotel warden for having a drink in the pool area. I said no problem we were just looking to come down to swim. She then notified me of the house rules, i said what rules. From the 15 minutes i had been there, the staff pulls out this white board and puts it next to the front desk. This was not there when i checked in. Talked to some other people in the hotel that had been there the previous two days and they said it had not been there previously. We had a group of 10 adults, and decided to meet in the lobby to go to dinner, we were told by the warden we could not sit around in the lobby/breakfast area because they couldn't here the phones ring. We were just waiting to leave, but at this hotel everything must be done in the rooms, because the warden doesn't want to deal with people. Over the weekend, the pool area was closed in the evenings when the warden was on staff, and open during the day when she wasn't on staff. I had seen the warden personally grab peoples cups, water bottles, and take them from people because the had them in the hallways and common areas. This was worst experience at a hotel in my life. Stayed at Des Moines location last year and had the best stay, I guess the staff here makes there own rules and enforce them like a prison, that is what this hotel is. Check in and go to your room and never come out. Just want to thank the warden on duty for a very pleasant stay. On the website it says we can offer you a conference room to sit in, we had nicely asked if we could use it for ten people to eat pizza together. They said sure but no drinks, not even water. It was going to take 45 minutes for us to eat and back to our rooms for lights out and 10:00 bed inspection by the warden. Love it how someone who deals with complaints can continue to let this happen. I would love an answer, today I'm still thinking this was a dream, but it wasn't Nearby activities: couldn't have actives in hotel, so if you wanted to have fun you had to leave
