I have 4 meters and always pay on time.While trying to ask about a billing issue,I was informed that they close in 3 minutes and hung up on me. These are the most unprofessional people.

They treat their customers horrible. I had a situation where my bill couldn't be paid until the morning of my shutoff date and they still charged me 100.00 late fee on a 66 dollar water bill, even though it was paid before it was shut-off. Disgusting.

This is an internal problem with one person who SHOULD NOT have this much control!!! I was on ACH and had to close a checking account because of a stolen check book. 5 days after the attempted auto draft, I received a letter in the mail from SIRWA stating that "My bill for 86.00 had been applied back to my account along with a 30.00 NSF...whatever! Also, the letter stated that my service will be DISCONNECTED in 5 days (from when I received the letter) if not paid in full. So, what happens if I'm out of town on business or vacation and didn't get to the mailbox for a week??? How about an email or a text? This is 2023 it may be time to change processes and policies. The PROCESS, the LETTER and the ATTITUDE of the billing department (1 person) is a problem. Recognize it and change!
