Dr. Hammock at the Foot & Ankle clinic on E Broadway in Council Bluffs, IA was very professional and thorough with my examination today. The office staff and his assist was very respectful and professional as well which makes the whole 1st x visit even that much more enjoyable . I look forward to dealing with this podiatrist as well as his fellow colleagues in the Omaha office on future visits. Say what you want but Dr.Hammock is the shiiiii in my book and I so appreciate all of their help to make my next 50 yrs even better balanced and walkable longer. Thank you again to Dr. Hammock and the office staff...and looking forward to our continued business in the future! God Bless you All!!!

The staff n Doctor were wonderful to me. Office was clean n they explained everything to me. I will recommend the council bluffs office to people in need. Overall great service.

I made an appointment for this business to get orthopedic shoes. I had a prescription from my doctor and gave my health insurance information at the time I made the appointment. The day before my appointment, I was called by a very unprofessional lady who said she was with this company and that she needed to cancel my appointment unless I paid 1/2 of the cost upfront. I advised her why would I do that if my insurance covers at 90 percent. She said she couldn't confirm that. I asked why she didn't. She called the insurance company, and she said that she didn't have the number." I was a little unsettled and avoid at this point because her tone and demanding money was so unprofessional..down right mean...I did say, " You don't have google?" Which could have come off wrong, but call any number for my insurance, and there is a prompt to send you to providers. Anyway, I gave her the phone number, and she hung up on me with no notice..nothing to say.goodbye, I will call you back or anything... I was hung up on!!! I got a call back from the rude women saying I had an extremely large deductible not met, and on she said 23 or 33 dollars had been met and demanded payment in full prior to appointment. I told her she was wrong ( I was in hospital for several days inpatient, and I had checked..prior..) She was very unprofessional, and I would go elsewhere. I called my insurance company and confirmed the same info that I was given before..my deductible was met ( and not what she said,) and the rep said there was no listing of any call in by the business. This, in my opinion, was an attempted fraud. I did call the phone number back of this company, which was different than the horrible speaking person I spoke with, and they said..yes she is an employee that canceled my appointment. I'm stund! Is this someone working inside the business to try to fraudulently hurt disabled and seniors or just a bad employee who didn't know how to do her job or treat a client? Either way .. THERE is NO WAY I would recommend.....p.s I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I was almost excited to get my ortho product, but there is no excuse for this.
