Hairstylist Maria was absolutely fantastic!!! 10/10!! Shes literally the sweetest person and so precise and quick! Her curl cutting technique is absolutely amazing! Id also like to mention that Ive never seen anyone do finger coils the way she does, my little coils were so bouncy and free!! Definitely recommend Maria!! She will most definitely take care of you and make sure youre pleased with your service throughout the entire process. After the prejudice I was facing from salon manager Tony, Maria was a true angel. Thank you so much Maria. I am a black woman with type 3c-4a hair, Maria was very professional and upfront about her experience being with looser curls, but she wanted to learn and get more practice. She not only WANTED to do my hair, she wanted to learn, not only do my hair (which Im 1000% letting her do again) but so she can expand her knowledge and serve the a growing population and demographics here. Theres something about a stylist being bold enough to admit lacking experience with textured hair and being so eager to learn!!!! Thank you so so so so much Maria. Ill be seeing you soon! (If the two women of color who witnessed what was going on see this, go see Maria! She will take care of you!!! I forgot to take pics but I will next time!)

Ulta beauty is a really nice store with a lot of cosmetics, skin and hair care at many different price points. If you are into higher end products you will be able to find some here. On the other side, if you're looking to be beautiful on a budget, you will also find some great options here. Staff almost always greet me upon entering the store and offer assistance. Most of the time I've shop independently. On the occasions that I have needed assistance, I have found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. I have also placed orders online for store pickup. My order was correct and completed within a few hours. This is a great place to stop for a variety of cosmetic needs.
