Super 8 by Wyndham Clear Lake

This place was AWFUL!! Do NOT book a room here! The beds creaked and were so worn out we could not sleep. An old dirty towel remained on the hook on the back of the bathroom door. There was no handle in the sink plug so had to dig around so I could lift the stopper and get the sink to drain. We ran into several people who had brought pets inno wonder I itched..I am allergic to pet dander and it obviously penetrated our room. Sheets smelled clean but were stained. Breakfast was a jokethere were no spoons for cereal so we rang at the front desk. A very disheveled guy showed up, bed head and pajama bottoms and no shoes, grabbed a handful of spoons from under the counter and put them in the containerpretty sure he had NOT washed those hands before he crawled out of bed. All I can say is Eeeeeew why didnt we check this place out first.,

Not clean, very dirty. Rooms: Dirty sink, refrigerator, headboard, window, floor, drawer interiors, and lamp. We should have known better as it was a Wyndham property.

Tried to stay here 02/02/2024 and we found bedbugs on and under the mattress. Front desk girl does not speak English and she refused to give us a refund. Terrible hotel and terrible service. Also bad odor.
