Clear Lake Adventure Rentals

I unfortunately had a poor experience with this company. In August I had a boat rented for my bachelorette party. It was all we had planned for the day and a 2 hour drive for us. We got there and checked in to the office 30 min before we were scheduled to get onto the boat. Check in went smooth and lady gave us all the instructions. We drove over to where the boat was docked in the water, which was about 10 min away. As we were walking onto the boat ramp, we received a call from the office lady saying that we can no longer go on the boat because of the wind. We got this call at 2:01pm, and our boat time was scheduled for 2. I understand that the weather can interfere with the ability to take boats out, but its more upsetting at the extreme inconvenience in timing of our boat getting cancelled. It was strange that the wind suddenly changed so rapidly, deeming it unsafe to take the boat out in the time it took to get from the office to the boat. It also didnt help seeing dozens upon dozens of other boats out on the water at the time- although I understand some were personal boats. As I said above, I understand weather can interfere with boat reservations, but I feel that the cancellation could have been communicated to us well before the exact time we were to get on the boat, and if it were, we could have made different plans for the rest of our day.

The Team at Clear Lake Adventure Rentals was a pleasure to work with! We rented the Dirty Dozen with a driver, and they made sure everything was ready to go at our scheduled time and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We rented the Walter G from Clear Lake Adventure Rentals on Saturday September 2nd. We had an amazing experience with the staff as well as our time on the pontoon! We will definitely be coming back!!
