First of all the employees at the store are hard-working and deserve a lot more money than they make. Otherwise the air conditioner up front broke, freezer has been broke for several months. The front door was broke for about 6 months. I feel bad for the employees they are frustrated.

I shopped there today and the looked like a total dump. Totes in the way and couldn't go I into some of the aisles because there was too much stuff in the way. The staff are totally rude. I'm not impressed.

Where to begin? This Dollar Store location is just bad. Horrible. Awful. Disgusting. First, and most importantly, they are committing fraud. The price tag of most (more than 50%) of items is not the same as what is being charged at the register. This has happened for so long, at so many Dollar Stores that the state of Ohio's AG is suing the company for this fraudulent practice. Second, for more than six months, this store's front door is broken and will not open or close on it's own. For the first several months, they simply put out a hand written sign stating to the customer to open and close the door by hand (with a door handle!) but I believe someone must have notified the county Fire Marshall about this because the sign abruptly changed on day to read "Please leave the door open" (Aside from asking the company to spend $400 to fix the door, how is it anyone in management not address a broken front door yet?) Third, for nearly a year, this store was making up what days and hours they were going to be open. Frequently, you would arrive only to be greeted by another sign (also hand written on poster board and marker) Closed for cleaning, inventory, remodel. Some lame excuse, because the store was never clean, nor were shelves stocked nor "remodeled". Fourth, obvious unfriendliness (rudeness) of the employees. Examples of this abound. Now, before anyone would like to explain this last point away by stating the low pay and/or poor treatment of employees by that company. I understand, but it absolutely does not EXCUSE the what is present at this place. Whomever is responsible for the management/running is failing. There is no way to get around that. Whether it is local management, district management, or higher into the corporate side, it is still a failure of a place. Save your money, save your patience, save your aggravation. Avoid them, and go somewhere else.
