        If I could give it 0 I would. Terrible place and terrible care. Twice recently they ran out of food for supper. I wish the government would step in.

        If you love your family, don't put them here! During my time at Heritage, the best part were the residents! This is by far one of the largest and worse long-term facilities here in Cedar Rapids! Management was terrible, a lot of the CNAs whether you work for Heritage or you were an agency CNA, or a medication administration or a nurse, most of them are lazy! There is no such thing as asking for help to a nurse to help a CNA with a task because they are not CNAs. There are a few wonderful CNAs and some of which are the men, which is amazing! I provided care to the residents as they were my grandparents to the best of my ability! Due to being so short staffed and laziness, alot of the residents were not being taken care of properly as briefs were not changed if you know what I mean. The state has been there two times in 4 months investigating neglect and other issues that people are turning Heritage in for care and other discrepancies. Don't work there!!!!
