My experience living at Grand Reserve was great. All maintenance issues, if any, were always addressed more quickly than expected, even after hours. Staff were always friendly and available.

One of the finest communities to live in Cedar Rapids. Maintenance team is particular about scheduled maintenance, The Boss/manager prefers daily round of community personally and check if everything is fine. I specifically remember incidence, after storm night She accessing situation and maintenance personally for cleanup work. Friendly neighbors with peaceful and lively accommodations. Very well maintained amenities like gym, clubhouse and great swimming pool in almost corner of woods. Grocery stores, and Gas stations are around the corner and a number of restaurants for easy access to shopping and eating out.

Hands down 1 of the best apartments in the area. I'll tell you why.... 1. Very secluded in a woodsy type setting. For example where my sin and my apartment is you look out the back screened in porch and you have a literal mini forest to look at. Also there is a huge lot thatvwe pretend is our own backyard, which, it kind of is because nobody really hanga out back there.oh and the wildlife we see is like living out in the country. We have an owl that hoots throughout the summer nights, deer that graze in the big field I was mentioning, dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, snakes, bugs its cool. 2. Very quiet complex Im not sure how the neighbors below hear us above but we rareky hear a peep from their apartment and they have a younger child. The only noise you hear is when neighbors are ciming in and out of their apartment's and the building itself, which is always locked for nice security feature. 3. The buildings are large but separated into 4 plex which is super important because it kind of forces everyone to respect their neighbor. 4. The Apartment Manager named Deb is very accommodating and really makes you feel welcomed and at home, amongst many strangers. 5. People actual stick to themselves here. At first it seems snobbish of them but you quickly adapt and join in on the privacy. People say hello and are cordial but I think everyone prefers to be left alone. 6. Pool pool pool pool. Dude, our first summer living here my 4 year old and I literally would have the pool to ourselves even on the hottest of days. 7. The diversity is huge. From young to very old and many different races and cultures. It's interesting.

I just moved out maybe 2 weeks ago but when I moved in the toilet was broken it was so loud my kid was scared to flush it. Also the apartment was not cleaned before I moved in I cleaned mold out of faucets around the sinks and back of toilets. I just moved out I lived there for maybe 4 months out of 6 lease there was roaches the entire time and I was not believed even though I had pictures with dates.. I was threatened with eviction after a few days late on rent and that is because I was struggling to pay the very high rent and expensive late fees they add right away. The pool was always filled with people at all times and wood chips from the garden around the pool tubes that people did not take out of the pool were always stuck in the pool filters along with pool toys I had to swim around tons of tubes that people left in there there was never available seating at the pool it was not cleaned up around the pool either. My apartment smelled like someone elses garbage at least once a week and I believe thats where the roaches were coming from they were supposed to come spray all apartments and buildings and mine I got a notice for a date and time and just somehow they skipped my apartment then tried to blame me for not being there when I was. When I used my dryer everything was covered in fuzz and lint from it. When the air conditioner was on it was so loud you couldnt hear anything at all so most of the times me and my child had headphones in to tune out the sound of it. Im being charged for leaving the apartment earlier then I was supposed to but they did not get rid of the bugs and purposely skipped my apartment when it needed to be sprayed. I didnt want to live smelling someones garbage all the time and having bugs. I also got charged for cleaning and tearing the rug when I did NOT tear any rugs and I cleaned everything spotless i left it cleaner then it was when I moved in. Now I have all these ridiculous charges and am being sent to collections when I moved out a week ago. They had an issue giving me my mail. For a week my mailbox was on the ground filled with water then it got moved and I wasnt told where. Just everything about this apartment was a nightmare for me and my family and so incredibly expensive and not worth it the worst experience with a place to live that I have ever had my child didnt even want to be in the apartment with bugs honestly I would not move there if I was paid to again! I am not just a mad tenant this is the truth and what I went through there. The one thing about the apartment that is good is the front desk worker Ava shes very nice and polite and helpful but the others were not so much .I'm sorry to say but all these people that gave a good review must not of lived there I did and it was by far the worst place I ever lived.
