Carroll Apothecary gets 5 stars from me! They have been my pharmacy for 39 years! I trust them and they always have what I need, both in the pharmacy, over the counter meds, medical equipment and gifts. Their customer service is superb and all of the employees feel like family to me! I doing business with them! Thank you for taking such good care of me!!

This is the worst pharmacy with which I have ever dealt. There is no communication from the pharmacy to the consumer, the amount of effort the staff takes to complete it's job of filling prescriptions change without notice, and when I asked why I was informed they were too busy to keep track of pre-authorizations, instead, I am supposed to call the pharmacy a third and sometimes fourth time to see if the preauth went through and then ask for it to be filled, again.
The prices of their goods on the shelves are on average 1 to 2 dollars more than what you can get the supplies for elsewhere.
I am usually adament about supporting local business, but since they are so busy they cannot be bothered to check on their output, I'm guessing they do not need to be supported as a local business.
On top of these issues, it is also abundantly clear that the staff of the pharmacy are not expected to have customer service skills or general respect of others. Just sit and listen to their conversations. I have had to ask them not to yell my prescription information from the middle of the pharmacy area to me at the pharmacy counter. It is as if there is a sense of entitlement to many (not all definitely) of the techs and cashier's.
All in all, the entitlement, rudeness, and lack of service equal less than a one star. My suggestion... GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
