I live in an apartment. Ive lived in this area for almost 2 years and have encountered this mail person more than once without issue. Today I finally talked to him, asking if I could sign for a package he could not deliver a few days prior, and the way he proceeded to treat me was disgusting and really disturbing. Immediately, he was on the defensive, put his hand up and, as if I was annoying him, told me I needed to wait a minute. Fine, I proceeded to wait and then he tried to make it difficult for me to get my package even though I had my tracking number pulled up on my phone. When he handed me my package - after, for whatever reason putting it in the mailbox even though I was standing right there - he sarcastically and condescendingly said thank you. Ive never experienced this from any postal worker in my life, and it was almost laughable if it wasnt so upsetting because it was completely unnecessary. I approached this man with no hostility whatsoever because, who would? and he completely took our conversation in a negative direction. Thanks, USPS.

Staffed by one person at a time who can change the hours / close / take a break whenever they want. Hours are printed on paper and taped to the window like something out of Mayberry. For a location that's a few miles from the state capitol it's pretty sad.
